Sanding Bands are 1/2? x 1/2? and 1/4? x 1/2? (12.7 mm x 12.7 mm, and 6.35mm x 12.7 mm) and in 7 grits – listed below. Includes 4 — 1/8? shank drum mandrels, 2 for each size band. 1/2? x 1/2?: 4 each 60 grit, 80 grit, 120 grit, 180 grit, 240 grit, 320 grit, 600 grit. 1/4? x 1/2?: 6 each 60 grit, 80 grit, 120 grit, 180 grit, 240 grit, 320 grit, 600 grit. Aluminum Oxide Abrasives are made of high-grade mineral and a bonding system that reduces shelling of the mineral. These economical abrasives are excellent for fast clean-up and pre-polishing work. Also available: 10-Packs of Aluminum Oxide Bands available in 60, 80, 120, 180, 240, 320, 600, grit or Assortment Use the Sanding Bands with 3/32? (2.35mm) and 1/8? shank rubber drum mandrels. To install, slip band onto rubber drum with screw loose. When band is in position, tighten the screw, which expands the rubber drum, for a secure hold.
