The reddish/oxidized texture is characteristic of natural copper when it is cooled down from red-hot temperature using cold water, technique that the copper-smiths use. The border is rounded.This copper sink was made from one sheet of copper, raised with the artist hammer, there are no one welded joints, the drops are pulled out of the copper sheet itself.The finish is in a dark brownish color.
