The DIY series of high-performance cold plates empowers engineers to create custom holes for precise device connection points like IGBT, MOSFET, or other power electronics. Each cold plate features an etched 'no drill zone' for visual guidance. Beyond this zone, holes can be drilled anywhere. (Avoid I/O ports.) Within the 'no drill zone', holes can only be drilled 6 mm deep to safeguard the internal fin field. (Refer to the explanatory graphic below).
